Monday, September 17, 2007: Another Trip to the Hospital

Well, we made another trip to the hospital today - but this one wasn't for Kristi! I got a call from Kristi at lunch and met her and Nathan in the emergency room at Holland Hospital where Nathan got 7 stitches!! Nathan fell off of the monkey bars at recess and hit his cheek on a metal bar. He got a nice gash on his left cheek bone. Check out the blood on his shirt...it was a gusher!!

Kristi also got her blood work done today and her platelet level is only at 44,000. We were expecting it to be lower so that was good news. The plan right now is that Kristi will go in for blood work again on Thursday to see where her levels are. We're tentatively planning on chemo next Monday. Kristi's cold is a little better today too.
