Tuesday, September 4, 2007: Round 9 & First Day of School!

Today we went in for round 9 and it was pretty uneventful. So far Kristi has had a little nausea and is a little fatigued. Pray that the nausea goes away with a good night's sleep. Hopefully tomorrow she can just rest and get better. They will not check her CA125 level again for a few weeks. Her blood counts are very low so we're thinking that next week's chemo will be delayed. Her platelet level is at 105,000 - needs to be above 100,000 for chemo. Chances are next week it will be much lower. Pray that it doesn't drop below 100,000.

Also today was Ashley and Nathan's first day of school. Ashley is going into 4th grade and Nathan 1st. Wow! Here is a picture of them this morning. Of course we followed them into school and into their classrooms. I'm sure it was completely humiliating for them, but I got some good pictures. :)
